About Elena
Elena Marsh is a novelist and essayist whose work explores memory, place, and the lives we don't quite lead.
She is the author of five books, including the bestseller Northbound and the essay collection Small Weather. Her debut, Saltwater Hours, was shortlisted for the First Book Award, and her essays have appeared in literary journals on both sides of the Atlantic. She lives by the coast with a very old dog and far too many notebooks.
She teaches occasional workshops on the craft of the sentence, and answers as many reader letters as she can. The best way to hear about a new book — or a reading in your city — is the newsletter.
